GSetup is the web application that enables the configuration of G-Mation P6 systems.
The operator can access GSetup through the PC_Operator browser and configure all the features made available by the device.
GSetup offers multiple functionalities that are described in detail in the following section; the contents apply for G-Mation P6 systems that have completed the sequence of operations in the “Preliminary Actions” section of this manual. [TBD: insert link to commissioning section]
- LOGOUT: functionality to terminate the GSetup work session;
- LOCALISATION: configuration functionality of the GSetup user interface culture;
- DATE_AND_TIME: functionality for configuring the date and time of the G-Mation P6 system;
- LOGS: management functionality of log files generated by the G-Mation P6 system;
- NETWORK: network interface management features of the G-Mation P6 system;
- SERVICE_SETTINGS: management menu of services integrated into the G-Mation P6 system;
- DIAGNOSTIC: functionality for displaying diagnostic data from the G-Mation P6 system;
- INFORMATION: functionality to display the software version installed on the G-Mation P6 and to verify the hardware configuration of the device;
- OPERATING_SYSTEM: functionality to update BSP versions installed on the MainOS partition and RecoveryOS system partition;
- RUNTIME: recipe management features, application runtime status. EoE (Ethernet Over EtherCAT) service configuration interface also available;
- MAINTENANCE: access to maintenance services (system dump, reboot software, and command line interface);
- USERS: functionality to manage registered users for GSetup access;
- GAPP_CONTAINERS: functionality for managing software distributed through “containers.”
