Users
In this article:
– description of the user management section of the G-Mation P6
Applicability:
– BSP ver. 1.0.0 or higher
Description: the user management function is available by pressing “Users” in the list of buttons on the edge of the screen in the “Menu” area.
By clicking the “Open Menu” button, the “Menu” area can be displayed/hidden.
The “Users” submenu displays the following items:
-) “User Logged”: indicates the username of the user currently authenticated to GSetup;
-) User table: data of users registered to GSetup are collected in a table displaying the following fields:
Username: reports the user’s username;
Role: reports the role of the user that determines the different rights associated with the user;
Language: reports the text display language configured by the individual user;
Active: reports the active (green dot) or inactive (red dot) status of the user. Only active users can complete access to GSetup;
Expired Date: limit date of GSetup usage by the user with the individual profile;
Created Date: date the user profile was created;
Updated At: date when the user profile was last updated;
Under production conditions, GSetup preconfigured three users:
-) “Guest” user, with a “Guest” role that allows you to navigate between sections of GSetup and perform minimal functions on the system;
-) “User” role user who can operate on the system in addition to the activities granted to the “Guest” role;
-) “admin” user, with role “Administrator” who can perform all system configuration tasks in addition to the tasks granted to the “User” role;
The user table has two buttons located above the top edge:
-) the “TBD” button provides access to the user profile configuration section. More details are available in the “USERS, Insight” section of this document;
-) the “TBD” button allows you to search for text sequences within the contents shown by the user table;
