Applicability:

Description: the system information display function is available by pressing “Information” in the list of buttons on the edge of the screen in the “Menu” area.
By clicking the “Open Menu” button, the “Menu” area can be displayed/hidden.
The section is organized into “Version Check,” which in turn is characterized by “Software Version” and “Hardware Version.”
“Software Version” reports the identifiers of the main system elements:
– “Kernel Version”: reports the kernel version of the operating system installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “BSP”: reports the version of the BSP issued by Gefran and installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “GSetup”: reports the version of the GSetup application installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “Scadauser”: reports the version of the Scadauser application installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “LLExec”: reports the version of the LLExec application installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “BIOS Version”: reports the version of the BIOS installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “CPU Mounted”: reports the type of CPU installed on the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “GF_Project Supported”: reports the minimum GF_Project version compatible with the G-Mation P6 in use;
– “Serial Number SOM”: reports the serial number of the System On Module (SOM) installed on the G-Mation P6 in use. If the serial number of the SOM could not be read, then the message “Serial Number SOM not found” is displayed;
– “Serial Number Device”: reports the serial number of the G-Mation P6. If the serial number of the G-Mation P6 could not be read, then “XXXXXXXXXXXX” is displayed;
“Hardware Version” reports indications of the hardware features of the G-Mation P6, associated with the ordering code of the device:
– “Ethernet Port Number”: number of Ethernet ports available on the G-Mation P6. This value can be three or four;
– “Presence POE”: with a green tick symbol, indicates that the G-Mation P6 features the presence of Power Over Ethernet (POE) interface; otherwise a red icon, indicates the absence of this interface.
– “Presence CAN”: with a green tick symbol, indicates that the G-Mation P6 has the presence of Controller Area Network (CAN) interface; otherwise a red icon, indicates the absence of this interface.
– “Presence RS485”: with a green tick symbol, indicates that the G-Mation P6 features the presence of RS485 serial interface; otherwise a red icon, indicates the absence of this interface.
By clicking the “Version Check” button, the operator can request at any time to refresh the information in the “Information” panel.
By clicking the “Show Licences” button, the operator can view the user licences of the software modules installed on the G-Mation P6.
