Enabling the “MQTT Server” service allows the G-Mation P6 to enable a server for the MQTT (MQ Telemetry Transport) protocol used in communication messaging in machine-to-machine configuration.
In the “Service Settings” section you can view the current status of the service, “ON” in the case of active service and “OFF” in the case of deactivated service.
Clicking the “Configure” button provides access to the service configuration interface.
The configuration interface of the “MQTT Server” service is shown below:
The popup displayed allows you to act on the on/off switch to change the enable/disable status of the service; clicking the “Edit” button allows you to change the status of the on/off switch.
By entering a user name and password in the respective fields, the “Add User” feature is enabled (the button turns blue and active) and allows the registration of a new user on the MQTT server.
A configuration/maintenance panel can be accessed for each user
