Partial import

Using the ‘Import’ command it is possible to import parts of previously created programmes into your application. It is possible to import from programs archived as ‘.gar’ or application belonging to projects existing in your workspace. Partial import-image_0After selecting the project to import, the user is presented a sequence of selection windows to choose what to import:
  • Non-graphic components:
  • Alarms
  • Hardware Project
  • Users
  • PLC Project
  • Variables properties
  • Recipes
  • Global Events
  • Graphic components:
  • Pages
  • Widgetboxes
  • Borders
  • Pages templates
In the case of graphic components, if there are conflicts between the objects to import and those already existing in the open application, the user is presented a selection window:Through this window it is possible to choose the action to perform: Partial import-image_0
  • Overwrite: the object to be imported replaces the original in the application;
  • Rename: the object to be imported will be renamed with the name written into the “New name” field;
  • Current use: the object will not be imported and the application in use will keep the original.
