Messages conflict

Starting from release 4.2.0, text database strings (messages) will be marked by a “timestamp” of the la modification time (milliseconds). For performance reasons (there are many strings) and efficiency (languages between programs can be different), the comparison between strings takes place by comparing the timestamp: if it’s different, then the strings are assumed as different. In the case importing graph objects contain strings, GF_Project will follow the procedure:If the importing IDs are not present inside the active application, strings will be imported automatically, using the same original IDIf the importing IDs already exist, timestamps will be compared with active application:With equal timestamp the active applicaiton strings will be used, without any noticeWith different timestamp, a messages conflict dialog will be shown, with the following aspect: Messages conflict-image_0For each conflict string will be shown the importing value and the value present inside the active application, divided by the languages chosen on window top area (not selected languages will not be imported).Several actions are possible:MERGE: strings will be mixes between active project and importing project. This choice is selectable on each importing language:USE_CURRENT: will use the active project stringOVERWRITE: will import the new string overwriting the active project stringADD_NEW: importing strings will be imported and queued inside the active project strings (after the last current active string)RELINK: all importing widgets using the string will be modified to use another string, chosen from the active program strings database. In this case, the “Relink to” column will become active and it will be possible to select a stringSome quick selection buttons are present:Ignore all: it will select automatically all strings as “MERGE-USE_CURRENT”Overwrite all: it will select automatically all strings as “MERGE-OVERWRITE”Add all: it will select automatically all strings as “ADD_NEW”
