Updating target disk

A new section has been added to GF_Project that lets you create a USB key for updating. You can prepare an update key offline and use it later on the target. The executable operations are the same as those done online: Updating target disk-image_0You can select any combination of these 6 elements:Update Firmware: the group of all files used to prepare a target (similar to the “Update firmware on target” operation on the “Hardware – Configuration“ page)PLC Program: 1131 programView pages: video program and users databaseHardware configuration: files generated by GF_Net and datalogs configurationOptions files: the configured options inside the “Hardware-options” project sectionClear retained memory: used to reset the retained variables on target (Added automatically if ‘Firmware’ is selected)To run the operation, you have to select a path in which to download the generated files (directly to USB or to a folder chosen by the user). There is a check that lets you run a compilation of the PLC and of GF_Net at the start of the operation. Any error messages will appear in the lower “Log” section.Note: in the case the target disk is a USB device (to be used to update the target at later time) please make sure to select the main disk folder (the root) as destination. Otherwise the USB update won’t work when the key will be inserted inside the target.
