ICT Diagnostics Interface
The main interface for Gefran’s ICT Diagnostics Tool is shown below:
The component is divided into 2 Zones:a list of the ICT devices described in the systema button to access advanced information on the networkThe main window lists the configured devices, Several columns are displayed, with the following contents:- Status: operating status:“—” Slave never communicated with;“ERR” Slave with which there was a communication error;“OK” Slave with which all (at least one) communications were successful;“L-E” Line Error. Line Error. Used only for Slaves in TCP positioned on nodes not connected to the network (for example, network cable disconnected).- ID: unique device identifier (as entered in the hardware configurator). Useful for pointing at the device in the PLC code.- Protocol & Description: string describing the device.Describes protocol type:“M-TCP” Modbus in TCP;“M-RTU” Modbus in RTU;Additional information:For TCP IP address;For RTU serial type, COM used, baudrate, parity;- node/line: identifies line and node.- device name: device name (as entered in the hardware configurator)
