Connection Error
During pages execution on target (or PC Executor) the PLC connection is continuously monitored. In case of connection errors it may appear the following window:
This window contains the PLC list for which a connection error has been detected (“Address” column). For each system a counter is displayed, containing the number of objects which need to connect (“Connections” column). Objects can be, for example:Main connection for general diagnostic (e.g.: alarm management)Currently displayed page connectionBorders connections (one for each border)The window allow to do the following actions:“Close and retry” button: the window will be closed and connection will be retried continuously. If, after some time, the error still exists, or if new errors have come, the window will pop up again.“Ignore all” button: all listed errors will be ignored and the window won’t pop up again for those errors. In this condition the connection will be retried continuously in background. In the case a system in error will connect correctly then, at later time, it will dis-connec, the window will pop up again.“Ignore” button, belonging to a listed system: like “ignore all” but related only to the associated address. In all cases, when all errors will be corrected (e.g.: the systems will connect after the windows pop up) the window will close automatically. It’s possible to customize window behaviour by the option “Pages connection errors strategy” (please see chapter “Configuration parameters”).
