Search and replace

• It’s possible to start a variable search inside the whole the project then to automatically replace it, using the button “” and selecting “Search/Replace” from the drop-down menu.
• This operation can be done on the whole project or on the single application, to select which you have to choose which one in the Subproject Combobox.

Search takes place inside all project sections except:Editor PLCGF_NetWhere it’s not currently possible to substitute variable from here. Please use embedded search&replace inside those environments.After the search a tree result output has displayed from where it’s possible to select every single element will be replaced: Inside the “Replace hint” column a possible replace result is suggested.When elements have been selected, its possible to start replacing pressing the button “”. The replace operation can be potentially invasive (it takes place in the whole project). For this reason GF_Project suggests to take a snapshot before continuing, to allow easy project recover at later time.When a replacing has been executed, the “Status” column shows “replaced”. In this condition it’s possible to repeat replacing again for other items not previously selected.
