Example for CSV format

For maximum compatibility we recommend as follows:

• Separator: set TAB
• Use quotes: not selected
• Select language needed
• Export file with chosen name (ex.: lang.csv)
• Open the spreadsheet program (Excel, LibreOffice/OpenOffice)
• Depending on the spreadsheet program used, you can open the lang.csv directly, or you’d need to “import data from text”.
• In the dialogue window, select Delimited and press Continue.
• Select TAB as delimiter.
• Depending on the spreadsheet program used, you are asked to select the columns and press Continue or press End.
• Make the changes needed.
• Save the file with the Save with name command.
• Write the name you want and select Unicode Text.
• In the confirmation window, confirm with OK / YES
• If needed, rename the file *.txt as *.csv (ex: newLang.txt -> newLang.csv).
• Import the file in GF_ProjectVX being careful to select TAB as separator.
• Select the languages you want and then confirm.

In order to gain maximum control over the input and output CSV file format, we recommend to use “LibreOffice/OpenOffice” product.
