Introduction

This protocol is used mainly for plastic machine markets.It’s a protocol based on shared files exchange, which needs a server.The operating principle is as following:On a plant server machine there should be installed some kind of “Euromap 63 management server”, in charge of the customer.On the server many shared folders will be created, one for every machine to be controlledEvery machine connects to the server at regular intervals, by checking inside its own shared folderWhen the server needs to communicate with a machine, it creates a request file inside the machine’s shared folderWhen the machine finds a request file inside the folder, it execute the required tasks and produces reply files inside the same folderFor further information, please have a look at the official specification “Euromap 63 Data exchange interface.pdf” inside GF_ProjectVX docs folder.
