Introduction

The Ict Diagnostics tool diagnoses problems in the management of serial peripherals.The tool has a graphic interface in Visual implemented by means of the Gefran component PanelIctStatus.The component is available in Visual components in the Diagnostics group (see GF_View chapter.)The component can:

• Operate on-board the machine:
• Together with the customer’s application, provided the application has inserted it in its HMI program.
• As an alternative to the customer’s application.
• Operate remotely on a personal computer where Project has been installed.
• The ICT (Industrial Central Terminal) is a data exchange tool operated by the Gefran target to and from remote devices, such as instruments and/or PLCs by other manufacturers, by means of dedicated protocols.
• The protocols currently managed and diagnosed are:
• Modbus TCP;
• Modbus RTU;
