Project

Launching GF_Project displays a window for selection or insertion of the automation project. The project selection window provides a list of the projects stored in the development PC as well as a series of selectable functions:

• Open – Opens the project selected on the list
• New – Creates a new project
• Rename – Renames a project
• Duplicate – Duplicates a project
• Delete – Deletes the project selected on the list
• Import – Imports a previously archived project
• Close – Cancels the operation

You can open the selected project by:

• Selecting the project on the list
• Clicking the Open button

In addition, some descriptive information for the project selected on the list is displayed for better identification during the selection process. This information has been inserted previously during project configuration.The Import function lets you import a previously archived project to the list of projects available on the development PC. This function also allows projects to be shared by developers or maintenance personnel.Press the Import key to activate the file selection window. The file format used to archive a project is .gar.With the import window, select the project archive files you need and press Open.When done, a new dialogue window provides information on the status of the import process. If the process ends without errors, the new imported project will be added to the list of available projects. When you open a project, a window appears as follows: The working window consists in a top bar, Outline Panel and a panel that contains the workspace.The project could a single application project or a multiple application project.Some operations are intended on the whole project, from now on referred to inference a set of applications, or on the single application. So beware on the use of this two words. In green are highlighted the single application and in blue the project.
