Main toolbar

The main GF_View toolbar is at the top of the screen.Use this toolbar for the following operations:

• Cut
• Copy
• Paste
• Delete
• Paste special
• Copy, cut, paste, remove usually work as we use them in Windows environments

The Paste Special allows, after you copy a component, and clicked on a second component, to apply a subset of properties, events and Conditions of the first to the second. Please note: all existing (selected) properties values and events will be overwritten.

• Historical modifications (Undo and Redo)

Through these buttons it is possible execute operations of undo and redo, single or total:

• Undo all. It restore the situation of the last rescue
• Undo last operation
• Redo last operation
• List of operations (undo and/or redo).

To use the following commands it’s necessary to select at least 2 widgets.

• Align bottom: aligns all selected components at the bottom
• Align middle: aligns all selected components in the middle
• Align top: aligns all selected components at the top

• Align left: aligns all selected components on the left
• Align center: aligns all selected components in the center
• Align right: aligns all selected components on the right

• Same size vertical: assigns the same height to all selected components
• Same size horizontal: assigns the same width to all selected components

• Even vertical space between widgets: make a vertical equidistance between three or more visual components
• Even horizontal space between widgets: make a horizontal equidistance between three or more visual components

• Group widgets: groups together several widgets; only the properties shared by all the widgets in the group will be listed
• Ungroup widgets: separates the group selected from the subgroups or the single widgets

• Bring on top: if a component is partially covered by another one, brings it on top
• Bring to bottom: if a component is partially covered by another one, brings it to bottom

• Display Grid: shows a grid to help the user position components on the page. Spacing can be set by selecting the “set size” popup menu.
• Zoom in: enlarges page size in the editor. Will not change page size on the target.
• Zoom out: reduces page size in the editor. Will not change page size on the target.
• Change language: lets you change the active language by selecting it on the pull-down menu at the far right of the toolbar.
