NetConfig

Panel used to change the system IP address and the configuration of all installed network cards.The system supports a maximum of 5 network cards, divided as follows (symbolic name in parenthesis):
  • Network card on base system (Base)
  • Network card ETH2 produced by Gefran, containing 2 Ethernet ports (Gef#1 and Gef#2)
  • Network card on standard PCI bus, containing a maximum of 2 Ethernet ports (PCI#1 and PCI#2)
The component displays a tab selector (TabSet) containing the 5 possible network configurations (Base, Gef#1, Gef#2, PCI#1, PCI#2).Click or press the “>>” and “<<" buttons to move from one card to another. If the system has not detected the card, the message "NOT PRESENT" will be shown.For all system the selections for each card are:
  • Disabled
  • TCP/IP
  • GDNET
  • GDNET + TCP/IP (only on version 8.10.0 and later)
Note: there can be only one card configured as GDNET in the system.The Save and Cancel buttons (respectively) let you save the configuration or cancel changes and restore the data from the previous save.Important: you have to reboot the system after changing the configuration.Publishes the following properties:
  • background: background colour.
  • background_btn: background colour of the buttons.
  • font: choice of font to be used.
  • foreground: foreground colour.
  • foreground_btn: foreground colour of the buttons.
