I/O Variables and Field Variables

I/O and Field Variables are inserted and removed only via the Hardware menu (GF_Net)On the Variables menu you can display the I/O and Field Variables previously described in the HW configuration. Each variable may be associated with a string of the database of strings (descriptionId). This string will be used in diagnostic components to provide the user with a descriptive associated with the variable itself.Use of the same variables on the pages is allowed, in order to display their value. Exit variables cannot be written directly on the pages. If such is required, you must set a supporting variable and using code written in OpenPCS, copy that value into the exit variable.
