Detail: configuration of NTP server
Applicability:
– BSP ver. 1.0.0 or higher
Description: the date and time configuration function is available by pressing “Date and Time” in the list of buttons on the edge of the screen in the “Menu” area.
By clicking the “Open Menu” button, the “Menu” area can be displayed/hidden.
The section is organized into “Date and Time” and “NTP List”
“Date and Time” reports the current configurations in terms of date and time:
– “Current Timezone”: current timezone configuration;
– “Current Date”: current date
– “Local Time”: local time;
– “Ntp client/server”: on/off switch for enabling/disabling NTP protocol;
– “Max delta in seconds for slew adjustment”:[TBD].
– “Clock Not Synchonized”: signaling displayed in case the clock requires synchronization;
Clicking the “Edit” button puts the “Date and Time” panel into configuration mode:
Clicking the “Save” button saves the changes made to the individual field;
clicking the “Cancel” button allows you to exit the configuration mode, without saving the changes.
“NTP List” shows the list of NTP servers registered for the G-Mation P6 in use.
Clicking the “Edit” button puts the “NTP List” panel into configuration mode:
The text entry bar allows you to edit the name of the NTP server;
clicking the “Save” button saves the changes made to the NTP server name;
clicking the “Cancel” button allows you to exit the configuration mode, without saving the changes;
clicking the “Add” button will add the newly entered/edited NTP server to the current list;
clicking the “Remove” button removes the selected NTP server from the current list.
